What Can You Do?

Here are some easy things you can do to help animals right now:

  • Try a vegetarian diet. On average one person eats 83 animals per year. If you are a “meat and potatoes” kind of person, cut your meat consumption in half and spare the suffering of many animals. 10 billion animals are killed every year in the U.S.

  • Write letters to public or corporate officials to help animals. Speak for those who can’t.

  • Adopt your pets instead of buying them from pet shops. Visit your local animal shelter or inquire with rescue groups. Check our Resource Center for listings.

  • Spay or neuter your pet.

  • Volunteer for Humane Carolina. We have variety of programs and activities.

  • Support only animal-free circuses.

  • Don’t wear animal fur.

Support our programs through our membership. You won’t be disappointed.

Please join us today and find out how you can help us help the animals.
